Texas has been ranked in the AP Top 25 for a UT-record and nation-leading 144 straight weeks. The next longest active streak is Southern Cal’s 119 weeks.
Texas has been ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll for 172 straight weeks dating back to late in the 1998 season. The 172 straight weeks is the longest UT streak in any poll and the nation’s longest active streak in the coach’s poll.
